It's Yooogurt!

Since we promised the girl at the shop to help them introduce this new froyo in town to our friends, I'll just have a short post here about it. A promise is a promise right? But idk who will come over this blog though. heh

Anyways, had this froyo at 1st Avenue Penang last week. Many new brands have been appearing in the market ever since Tutti Frutti came into existence in Malaysia. But really, this froyo is really nice. Many choices to choose from too. We had lychee and strawberry that day.

And I personally love the baby blue cup. :D

The even have other choices like smoothies and milkshakes. The cakes on display looked tempting too but we didn't have any that day. Must have a try next time.

And most importantly, they are all at affordable prices.

Why wait ? Opening promotions going on now.

Currently available at 1st Avenue Mall only though.

Around the shop.

The shop isn't big. More like a cosy small place.

Suitable for hang outs or chit chats in small groups if u want more privacy.

We had the shop to ourselves the other day.

There were a few other customers which came and go but we stayed the longest.

It's at the basement of 1st Avenue near Kim Gary.

Kinda secluded though. Need to pay attention to spot the shop :D

Yesh. Down with flu. It's been so longgg..

But still wanna go everywhere although am so sick. and this time all 3 girls sick together with Jovy and Serene.

Anyways, short updates about the following days of CNY still:

4th Day : Gambling Day

5th Day: Meet up with friends and party at night! heh

counting back, I have already known u for 13 years already Vicky! that's longgg :D

1st time to Mois. ~~yeah i'm srs. 1st time.~~ heh

6th Day: Gathering at my place.

Eattt and Gamble again. Get to meet our primary school teacher too.

But it was kind of a rush decision so really sorry for those who i didn't inform. real sorry :/

7th Day: Slept like a log til noon and then meet up with them at night.

Just love the random hang outs. And both of them matter a lot to me C:

8th Day: Went for a movie with Jovy and Ivy - I Love HK.

Starting was just okayy but the part behind super hilarious. Or maybe i just lost control. Laughed like a mad hatter. JCo for bro and sis and got new nail colour too that day :)

9th Day: Chiong K with the girls at Redbox and sis

No photos with me at the moment though.

10th Day: Initial plan was round Penang Island.

Ended up rounding half of it only. ahha

All 3 KO with virus. *tskk*

First 3 Days

Yeahh, blog is back to basic. Feel more comfortable looking at this simple one.

So 3rd day of CNY ended now. Being home alone with sister only, ~~because idk others were all going out including my mom and dad~~ :/

CNY is practically about get-togethers, visiting, getting angpaos and eating.

First Day:

Now that all are at different places studying, really hard to catch up.

So CNY is the best time :D

Hello Dragon!

40 minutes to the arrival of the Dragon Year.

Excited to see fireworks from my home only at this moment :D

So yeah, after almost a week after my exams I manage to update a post. heh

Was busy doing girly stuff with girlfriends in KL and many chaos in between too. Enjoyed it still, especially because all of them were online deals so got all the stuff far cheaper than usual and it's around CNY time. So considered very cheap. lol.

But then the super careless me managed to ruined my fingernails before CNY and I changed the colour by repainting it myself in the end, so not gonna talk about it more.

Celebrated my dear Serene's bday the very next day after coming back from KL. Thank God for not being stuck in the awful jam. Really awful from what I see in the photos taken in the newspaper and on the net. Surprised her at Feringghi Garden. Hope she loved it :)

And oh, I promised sis to make the chocolate cornflakes with her. ~~idk what the real name is~~. It's really so easy to do. :D Had fun the whole night yesterday.

2 Down, 3 To Go!

Two papers down. The paper yesterday was so tough I nearly teared. Or was it just me? No idea. Was wanting to shout : " Profff, Y U SO HIGH STANDARD?!" heh. Today's paper was better, at least. Or I'll just have to forget about my GPA points.

So, to whoever is reading this, just out of curiosity, will u get hungry during exam weeks? I tend too.. More than usual. Luckily I stopped myself from stocking up junk food in my room, or else, say hi to the kilos. But really need something to chew on right now. First time having exams daily, straight from Wednesday til Tuesday. Thank God for the tiny break of 2 days in between. And I'll be freee. Still far yet so near.

Another 2 practicals and a theory paper. Wish me luck! :)

And looking forward to a feast at McD tomorrow. Sounds pathetic, but yeah, the hostel serves terrible food. Are they even considered food? idk. lol. Will get malnutrition if this continues, luckily we don't have to be here any longer. :))

Mixed feelings I have now.

Thankful cuz I can get over it real soon,

Worried cuz I feel I haven't studied enough.

Anyways, like my dad always said: What will be, will be.

So just strive for the best I can and hope I can walk out of the exam halls with no regrets *but usually it'll be the opposite, heh..*

Actually if I did do proper counting, 4 months of holidays plus another 4 months of semester without having mid sem exams this time, I haven't been taking exams since the last 10 months. Goshh, that explains why I feel so rusty right now.

But then, still have to face reality that I have exams starting tomorrow...

Like my friend said, I tend to do stupid things once in a while. But just this time, it went a bit out of hand.

I DELETED ALL THE PHOTOS OFF MY BLOG VIA PICASA. ALLLLLLLLLL!

Memories since 2007! Wanna kill myself.

Then there came a bright light, my sister said that the photos could be recovered from the recycle bin via laptop. So happy indeed.

Thinking that problem was solved. Then that means no problem.

Quality time with family for the first 2 days of new year. Exams are restraining me from hang outs. But I know this will end fast as I have CNY to look forward too. At least this year I need not have exams in the midst of CNY, having a whole month of hols awaiting.

Of Love and Faith

Well, usually it's these 2 things that bring upon marriage. No? Was the first time ever attending a friend's wedding. It was quite some time ago and I just had to finish blogging this before 2011 ends. Conclusion out of it, getting married is tiring! Did had fun along the way though. A memorable one.

So yeah, it's the usual traditional Chinese orientated wedding with the dinners and the games and stuff. Encountered some different things there but let's not talk about it here. The main aim was to get together with all the girlfriends which we didn't contact for almost 2 years. We were from the same National Service camp. Thank god we didn't become strangers with nothing to talk to after not contacting for 2 years. Cheers to that! Kinda miss NS life. Okayyyy stop, this is a wedding post.

I had this first attempt trying to blog from email to blogger. BUTTTT failed. Typed dozens of words there but they seemed to have disappeared into thin air. Back to the basics. I need to blog with a mouse and a proper keyboard. So yeah, second post of the day.

So later in the night, they had this "lao tia mehh" which has all the traditional rules and procedures to carry out before getting wedded on the next day. Sooooooooo many procedures I gave up even memorising one. ahha call me lazy. I admit that. :)

And so, on the next day. Her bouquet of flowers and other stuffs.

Behold... The ever so longg dress that I am sure I will trip over it if I am supposed to wear that. Thinking of shorts or mini skirts or gowns without trains for myself. Maybe I'll stick to mini skirts since the weather is hot like mad. LOL.

Kiddn'. That was just a thought.

A few of the girls getting ready to challenge the guys when they arrive. Think it's so easy to get a wife? Think twice. heh. Personally thinks that the games and other stuff could be better but still enjoyed. Spent most of the time laughing and talking at the top of my voice. Lost part of my voice by the end of the day though.

This is the one standard part that will always appear on the wedding day. Vows and vows of love.

Merry Christmas everyone! How did you spend your Christmas eve?
I had quite an unforgettable one, since it's my first time to UPR (Upper Penang Road). Lame right? LOL but yeah, it's a fact. So headed there with the friends and got stuck in the jam when arriving at the place. Flooded with people which was expected.
The initial plan was to hit the clubs (also my first time) but ended up sitting outside having drinks and chilling. Clubs were all full. Full weyyy... imagine the crowd inside. Anyways, did had a good time catching up and meeting my dear girlfriend all the way back from Aussie. C:

Met a friend, Yj there and she bought us two drinks. Thank youu lots!

*But i doubt she'll come across this post anyways. ahha

It was really kind of a crazy night for me cuz I haven't been that drunk before.

Thank god for all the friends there taking care of me.

So half a day more til Christmas ends.

Hello mid-December

I always have this tendency to blog only when I'm heading home the next day. As usual, abandoning my dear blog now and then. The 'Hugging Valentine's' had just went by. Nothing special in mine. Just that a new pet of my friend's is named Valentine today.

Anyways, did some retail therapy recently and I'm finally happy with the outcome, despite the first time being unproductive. I can just say, I'll go for quality more than quantity.
There're a few memorable stuff happening recently, including blood donation with the nurse poking the needle into my SIDE vein, not the middle one. Of course, some good food and shopping together with the girlfriends here. Forever piling reports and to-do list. Splashing in the clear cool river, located in the lush green forest of mother nature. Learning new stuff from time to time. Chatting with my sister like a kid once more. And also the ridiculous lecturer storming out and making petty requests. *hate this part*

This is life.
Goes on, and never stops just for you alone.
Time seems to be flying kinda fast.
Still remember I used to complain that high school was so boring and I wanna graduate as soon as possible.
Now I wish I can go back to where fairy tales and happy endings were still applicable for imagination.

Oh well, everything has to continue. So just enjoy each part of it. ♥

Hello world. It's one more month til Christmas! Can't wait for that cuz that marks the end of my first semester. Yet I don't want it reaching so fast cuz that will mean study week has started. I hate burying myself in books. Yikes. Now isn't any better either. Assignments, presentations and lab reports keep coming in a heap. Maybe to the lecturers they seem to be giving little work only but we have so many lecturers weyy...

Okay fine. I feel so stressed up now. Blogging will always be my comfort zone when the feelings come to the tip. I know I'll be fine after blogging :) This semester is ending so fast I can't even keep up the pace. And and and, I have so many things in mind, homework to finish, presentations to prepare and I also want to go to so many places and I want to shop for my Chinese New Year stuff! boohooo... :[

Malacca One Day Trip

Okay, obviously I've been so behind time in updates. Now that the new blogger interface has a graph, I can see that my blog traffic is descending. haha.

Anyways, since miss Vachel keep complaining I never update, here's one then.

One day trip to Malacca after ending our 4-week attachment at UKM Hospital. This time there was no running after buses and getting wet all over, not so dramatic like the previous time we went because this time we drove there.

Reached Malacca around 11 something and decided to go for the chicken rice balls, but the queue at the famous shop was sooooooooooooooooo long we decided not to wait and went to another one just around the corner, crossing fingers hoping that it won't be of much difference. Come on, chicken are all the same right? :D and we were hungry, so anything tastes nice when you're hungry.

And this fried tofu with a wee bit salty topping at the top. First time seeing this kinda thing. Quite a nice try but kinda oily. ~~Stomach's starting to growl in the middle of the night now while typing this post. hah.~~

Then off we went to Jusco for Real Steel. It was such a superb movie! Sounds stupid but I sort of kept ''screaming'' and ''cheering'' when the robots fight. Too excited already I guess. And I feel really silly for going to the cinema 3 times, 3 TIMES, for Transformers. Real steel is wayyyy better, man! And I was awake throughout the whole show. Not like Contagion, allowing me to experience dozing off for the first time while watching movies in the cinema.

Okay chill.

So after being so excited about the movie, we were hungry again.

Plate empty in minutes, no, no, I think empty in seconds should be a more appropriate word.

This is the only thing that we ''snatch'' for more. =D

So, after being well-fed and satisfied with cakes, but still not THAT full, we went to queue for satay celup.

For one an a half hour. I'm SERIOUS! haha

The reason is this! heh. yar i love the thick satay sauce served and the important thing is, they give you a new pot for every change of tables. That is, you don't share a same pot of gravy with the people that ate at that table before you.

That's just nothing weiii... ahha

Don't worry, it's buffet style. You take what you want and you can just leave it there if you can't finish, not counted into your bill if you haven't bitten it. =D

So that kinda ends our one day trip because by the time we finish eating it was already 9 something and we need around 2 hours to reach KL. In the end we got stuck in a jam and reached past 12am. Had a small lecture from the guards at the gates but still didn't ruin my mood that day. I'll be happy to go back for more if I had the chance. Wanna go Jonker Walk next time (:

If you've been wondering where I've been disappearing to recently, I was drowned in a mass of assignments and case studies and reports.

Eyelid Tape

Felt an urge to blog about this outta the blue. For those who has seen me bare face (without make up) might realise I have unequal eyes. One side's double lid is inner and the other is outer. Don't know if you understand what I'm talking about, so it's something looking like this. So it's like, one big and one small.

For years, I've been using eye talk to glue my ''outer'' eye to make it look like ''inner'' double lids, so when photos come out, it shows single eyelids. Now you may go, so what's the big deal? Yesh there's a big deal, first of all you need to wait for the glue to dry, and then when you put eye shadow over it it shows an obvious line, unless you wait for half an hour before putting on the eye shadow. So in the end I gave up eye shadow although I like it. And also, removing the glue is a pain in the ass. I don't like it at all. Gives me redness and sore every time unless I remove it with warm water.

So typically I look like this.

And until Sherlyn introduced me this double lid tape. I didn't have a thing for tape last time because I felt it was kinda bulky and obvious. And the most important thing is, I don't know how to apply. Until I came over this, it's so easy and so transparent I don't even notice it. It saves time and it's not painful at all. Of course you might say, just go get laser surgery and that's it. But I don't want that either.

soo tadaa, I bought the smallest size available.

They have Small, Medium and Large just like clothes. I got mine at Sasa stores.

Sis' first ferry ride

my sister's first ride on the ferry!

I was like "enjoying" the ride so much, transportation of any kind isn't my favourite at all. Didn't know if I was born this way or because I plainly get car-sick or sea-sick or air-sick(sounds wrong) so easily. I remember the ride back in Hong Kong when we were going to the Dai Yu San. It was so terrible I puked and felt so sick while others enjoy the ride so much. @.@ sadness. Anyways my sister was enjoying herself a lot as we can see here. hah. She was complaining that the snacks on the ferry is so inedible but yet she still wants to buy this and that. *tsk*

Back from a short weekend at Penang! Keep telling myself must must must concentrate on studies already. Some stuff came up back at home, keeps running thru my mind although I know I can't help yet.
Anyways, it's another rainy and cold day. Travelled back to Penang at 9am. Earliest ever. It was Monday, first day of uni. We just had a short session of introduction with lecturers, seniors and juniors and off we went. Ignored the following talk during afternoon. We went to Pavilion, had lunch at the food court. Loved my fried lamian. Then 5 of us girls went to watch Contagion. It was soooooo boring. I fell asleep! Actually almost all of us fell asleep hahahah too tired from the previous days of moving stuff and our trip. First time watching something til I sleep!

Then, Tokyo Street! It's so short. I was expecting something longer. But nvm, saw many cute stuffs and also discovered a shop that actually sell the Shiseido shampoo I'm using. No need to carry back all the way from Penang anymore. *grins* And of course, Daiso is there! Many things are so worth to buy. RM5 for all! How's that sound?

And after walking for a few hours buying our stuff, my friends brought me to this Outback SteakHouse. I was initially thinking a normal dinner with my coursemates. but...

It's already Day Two in uni today. Had some lectures too already! Those stuff that I was fretting seemed to turn out great so I can say, til now I'm doing quite fine back in KL. And I do feel very lucky. New room, new furniture, new bed, even the mattress is new. So much for being contented. heh.

And the happiest thing I've encountered is, most classes are now just within walking distance from my room! Let's say it won't be more than a hundred steps! This means, more time lazing in bed and need not get all sweaty just to get the bus to the faculty. The seats in this building, we call it PKP, is so comfy. I feel it's more like a cinema than a lecture hall really. But this is because they're doing renovation works in the usual lecture halls. Hope I get to "WOW" after the renovation is done! =D

There's a four week attachment coming up soon at the UKM Hospital. so not prepared. oooops. hope I can survive it.

I have so much to blog about. Went for a trip with my dear friends and of course, my 21st bday celebration. I wanna thank so many ppl! LOL a post will be coming up soon! Stay tuned ^^

Tonight is the last night i'm able to snuggle under warm covers in a cold room. I kinda like to be warm and cozy in a cold room but I hate the heat. ironic huh...

Had a facial session with my dearest yh again at HerbaLine. Discovered a big thing about the franchise thing and determined to go to the "original" one next time. It's really a relaxing place to go, especially when u're super stressed. So sad about the franchise in KL being so far til I knew, there's one in Lot 10 3rd floor! hoorays hoorays I'll be certain to visit it some day soon hehe..

I just can't express how nice is it. It comes with a first trial price at some shoplots for RM38 and student price at RM48 summor (but hor their student is til 22 only lor, so I'm gonna maximize the usage of my 21 years old) hehe. U tell me lahh where got facial so ''tat'' (worthwhile) one? Maybe u might think, r u sure? So cheap after my face ruined lehh. I can assure u, it won't. I still can't get over how tat it is. LOL A session starts with soaking our feet in water containing sea salt for around 5-10mins. It does something like detoxification and stuff. I'm not going into detail about the good effects. Then continued with aromatic therapy. They let u breathe in some steam from a herbal soup, claiming to be soothing and relaxing. Next they would lead you up to ur room where your facial session starts. They do double cleansing, then an exfoliating mask which is peppermint flavoured which I can't get over it. I love it so much! I even ask if they sell it but nope, it's not for sale. Sadness. Anyways, after the exfoliating would be the painful part. Squeezing out pimples blackheads and etc.. Then a soothing mask is applied. Snoozing off at that moment is quite a big possibility. heh. After around 20 mins, the mask is removed and usual stuff like toner, moisturizer and sunscreen is applied. Oops before i forget during the soothing mask they'll give u a super relaxing massage from the face down to ur shoulders and hands. And it's all for RM48 for students anytime before 4pm! RM70+ for normal pricing like on weekends and public hols.

So, why not try it out? hehehe especially when we're stressed with the buzzing and hectic city life.
Btw, this review is written based on the franchise in Greenlane, Penang. It so happen that we went to the Gurney branch too. Turned out Gurney was the HQ and Greenlane's shoplot is like using HerbaLine's brand and providing another brand for products. Kinda complicated. I also don't understand hahaha but basically, they're the SAME. oh oh yea when I went for the first time since my friend promote it so much, I was expecting some high tech instruments. They have various instruments for the facial, only that there's one instrument that are usually seen in other facial outlets like New York Skin Solutions to check the skin condition is unavailable. Really not convincing for the first time until I tried it. AND before I forget, one session of facial at HerbaLine is also ended with fish spa. Why pay so much to go fish spa? Get all for cheap rates lah! ahhaah

And nope, I'm not writing an advertorial :)

Midnight Rambles

Now to type a proper blog post which I haven't done in ages. It's now in the late night. Outside's dark with only some random cars driving down the road. It's pass 12am, so hello Wednesday! Being emotional the whole day, knowing that my holidays have come to an end. This once again proves how fast time flies. It has no mercy on me anymore.

Remember the times when I was in Primary, I yearn for Secondary. When High School ended, we know we will continue College and the last aim would be in Uni. Now that I'm a university student for 2 years, things have changed. Opinions change, point of views are different. Dreams prove that they can only be dreams. 2 years left in uni makes me so uneasy.

Many people like to ask me, how's your future, what to you expect when u graduate, how much will u earn. Sorry to say but these questions really can ruin my day. You may say I don't have proper aims and dreams, I'm a failure. But who knows the story behind? Anyway, complaining doesn't help. We shall see what happens in 2 years time. Don't ask me. I do not know too.

These 4 months holidays acted like a long getaway from the real world and now that it's time to go back to reality, I'm so reluctant to. Many happenings occurred in these 4 months. My break up, the quarrels, the tears, the smiles, the laziness, the part-time work, new friends, got myself curls, gained weight.... It seems like so yesterday. Telling myself, don't be a fuss over it. It's not like you haven't had holidays before. But I still want to be a little girl in the family. The outside world is just too ''wild'' for me. The urge wanting to go out there yet dare not to is still there.

However, I'll promise myself, I'll do my best. Cheer up girl. It's not the end of the world yet. Smileee Smileee Smileeee....

I doubt that this post will be read. Congrats if u reached this part hahaha..

Don't know where to start. I had a pretty good August overall. September which everyone fears is here(at least for local uni students. hah)
Love these hols pretty much. At least I have more time with friends, myself and the most important, my family for sure. Visited town more often and drove more. Started learning directions but still manage to get myself lost in Penang Island.

Wassup people! I've changed my blog layout and it did not turn out like what i expect. Any suggestions to make my posts part a little extra opaque so that my words can be seen clearly? Me cousin sis! OMG we ate a whole lot in Sakae and the bill came out to be higher than when i ate with another guy and a girl. Had a great day pampering ourselves with Sakae Sushi, Chatime and HP7! Quite down when the movie ended cuz there's not more next episode to wait for. Ten years already. I'll miss you Potter! =D

Watched Wu Xia yesterday, i keep laughing for things that don't seem funny to other people. Maybe quite high on caffeine in the middle of the night. Andddd, coffee bean Mocha Latte is so not my type. Too sweet! And the barista's standard in making coffee is kinda bad.

And, something not related to the post: I did many stupid things lately.

Cried and screamed like a baby when i had my session of Chinese Therapy Massage. (推拿) I don't really know what's it called in English so i made up the name myself. ahhaha Why? because i had an old injury which i didn't really take good care of and now it's payback time. :( Got hurt in St John training in high school. Now when i think back i really feel that i'm so awesomee(or rather, silly) in being so dedicated during traininggg... Many self complaints to do. Wait for my post if i do have the time to rant. LOL better not lah if not i scare juniors away from getting involved. =D

Hello folks, as usual, it has been some time. And pardon me for the lack of creativity to give my posts good titles, so have to stay put with Dear June, Of June... Ahahha whatever. Anyways, there are a good lot of happenings in my month of June.

First of all, im with curls now. heh

Okay i get remarks looking like an aunty la, grandma la (from boys) and whoas and nices' (from girls), so, no massive change la, just curls ma. aduii.. Take it or leave it. So simple.

And of course, cant miss out a chance to ''gila'' with my bestie. She's a super nice friend. Always willing to help and listen and puts ppl's priority first. Had a sleepover at me house. we chatted and camwhore til 6 am in the morning. Crazy right? ahahha but i love it. miss those sleepovers and chats that i have with my dears back in secondary. Now we're all apart, so have to grab that golden chance if we're given one! And dear J is back in Malaysia. Can't wait to meet up with her. =)

Btw, got a new phone-HTC Wildfire S. But gonna sell it hahaha. Anybody interested?

Why selling? cuz the internal memory does not meet my needs, and now i have eyes on Samsung Galaxy S2! *grins* heheehhe. I had so many suggestions given when i asked my frens around. Some say iphone, some HTC some Samsung. Well, Iphone is pretty, but 4s and 5 is coming out, and i don't fit that luxury yet i guess. Will make it my dream phone for future. hiak hiak hiak. but Samsung doesn't lose much too! S2 is the King of Androids for now. ehhe

And a meet up with my secondary friends! all bonded thru St John. Ahhhh memories. the tears the smiles the hates the likes the arguements the quarrels the competitions the trainings we had. It'll be a long long story, never ending story to tell about St. John. Had been my love for 5 years. and cuz of it, i had memories of High School. Chang chang is going to fly to UK soon. so must meet up and catch up first. ehhe

Of course, my crazy sister. She's good and nice to play with, a sore at times, but still, i love her although she makes me really mad at times. =D

Not to forget getting a fever after so long in June. Lucky or not, i skipped work for 2 days. Getting sick is really a no-no for me. it's suffering.

Hello People! It's the middle of the year already.
After being slacking around May, I finally got a job. In an office.
And it's totally nothing near what I'm studying right now. cuz it's an ACCOUNTING department.
well no harm trying to get some cash la, and i don't get to touch the real accounts, so yeah, it's paper work and paper work again. sien weyyy...

Anyways, today i bet students of the whole UKM are frantically checking their 2nd sem results, well at least mine improved (last sememster i sucked bad). And again, no HM results, BAH! Been torturing us with this thing the whole year. Please get it done, i don't want another semester of HM, kills.

So, 2 or maybe 3 months of work and get myself a short hol if possible to somewhere. Have a thing for beaches, hope i can. I might be happier if the office i work in looks like this.

anyway, would like to blog about how my Labour Day was spent this year.

it was a day in advance to celebrate a few important dates in May since we won't be meeting each other during that time.

woke up late. dressed up. off to farenheit 88 for lunch.

stopped by this Korean restaurant again. I just had been there the week before then. heh

The finger food is refillable. So eat as much as u want! Nice weyy..

to escape the crowd and the queue, we had our annual Mother's Day big family dinner one day before.

went all the way to somewhere near Kulim, and idk the exact location. ~~can't even find it on Google Maps~~. click here for more info. it's at some secluded area la, but the food is awesome max.

It's one in a million western and local fusion run by Malays. hardly found around us right? or if there is a lot, please correct me this ''frog under the well"

The area is big and it is called the Cowboy Valley. But no cowboys to be seen. Nothing near that too, so don't even imagine waiters with cowboy hats.

This is the menu's cover. My bad for not taking photos of the insides and surroundings. They offer all kinds of basic western cuisines, and of course, local Malay food like nasi beriani and stuff. They have the basic steak, lamb chops, ostrich meat, rabbit meat and even deer meat. Since they own their own animal farm, the ingredients are all fresh and delicious! Me myself ordered a Kambing(Goat) chop, hahhaa made me laugh but it's nice. However I still prefer lamb cuz it's more tender, so I ended up keep nipping bits off my dad's plate cuz he ordered sizzling lamb chop.

Yeah it’s the usual weekend crowd at Sticky. But the main thing today is about Sno, another way of having your favourite yogurt or icecream blended with toppings and flavours of your choice.

It’s now in Pavilion too. I’m not a good advert writer so, just go check it out yourselves. They offer a range of blended flavours consisting of biscuits to chocolates. Check it out on the Sno Menu here. However the price is a wee bit expensive, it actually gave me a shock when i concluded my options on its touchscreen order. Actually its just for fun la, in the end the staff will still copy down ur order and pass the paper. So you will go WOW so advance in the first place. hahaha

Anyway out of curiosity, i ordered myself a cup too! Cost me a bomb of RM 9 for just a medium sized cup yogurt with Twix, Nutella and a dash of sprinkles on the top. It really isn’t a daily thing that i can handle, will go broke. heh.

Design your own drink! You can blend any flavour or topping that u like, can even add in the whole list, but if u have no idea or don’t feel like wasting a bomb on a drink that tastes awful created by yourself, you can always choose from the conbinations that Sno provides. They even have a special drink aimed for body builders. You know lah, with all the protein and stuff. heh.

Camwhoring around while waiting for my drink to be ready. That big cup is given by a staff which in the end, turned out to be my old tuition-mate. He can actually recognise me after so long. I’m flattered. But I couldn’t, bad for me eh? It’s really awful to not remember ppl’s names but i really apologise cuz i have a super terrible memory. So next time, dozen of sorry’s if i really cannot remember ur name. But I usually tend to say I remember and rush back to start texting ppl asking. oopss.. wenjie if u read this, thousand apologies, sorry ya. hehe

Looks like i’m sucking it but I’m not. How i wish i can get this size at RM9 @.@

See? such a small small cup and it’s RM9. Next time want to buy a, buy a larger size and share around many ppl will be more worth it. Actually my toppings and all total up to around RM3 only u know, it’s the size and the type of base that costs a bomb. And seriously, nutella tastes super weird with frozen yogurt. So imma gonna be wise next time and choose the prepared combinations by Sno. But I think it’ll be a long long time after then. Cuz i won’t be in KL so soon already. ehhe

Yeah but i'm still mad. *screams*

ok fine, it's my fault, need bigger brain capacity, need more hardworking attitude... blah blah blah. the list goes on, easy to write what, my BM essay in high school get A de leh. "Untuk mencapai keinginan, kita haruslah mematuhi langkah-langkah yang berikut..." crap =.=

but this paper really got me in tremors. srsly. the long long 2 weeks of exams, this is the 1st paper i actually feel like whamming myself into the wall. lidat only got quality ma, u stupid ma din study. yeah i admit, i din really prepare well, as you sow so shall you reap. pls let me pass let me pass, don't wanna dream of all those creepy insects ever again, but seems like my 3rd year i actually have to catch them myself. oh dear...

anyway, one more paper tmr, it's a lab test and srsly must ganti balik gao gao, but i think not enough to cover my wrongs today also. must bear with it, as what my dear lecturer Prof Rohi said. hehehehe okies i will go hug a bear. but now no mood la. feel like a silly girl wanting to burst into tears just now. but just cannot tahan what. it's like u wanna puke u cannot swallow back right? so paiseh. haihs

btw, for some distraction, this nails nice hor? anybody knows manicure? come paint me nails. =D okay maybe i'm feeling super emo and bitchy right now, the dark devilish red is just the right colour for my mood. okay fine, my bf sure say yerrr so geli one if he sees this. fine. forget about it.

so turn to some super colourful thingy to cheer me up. don't try to tell me, ''u so big liao still like children colours" statement k, it brightens me up and it worked for me when i was a kid, so it will work now too.

I practically am a super sweet tooth, especially when i emo, stressed or happy, i sure want smth sweeet. but there's nothing in my room with me right now. i repeat, NOTHING. except a pack of economy rice from the cafetaria which induces my loss of appetite when i look at it. don't believe? no i'm not gonna show u a picture of it, its super unappetizing. i want some lollis now pretty please.

oh oh before i forget, took a look at the pc list just now. its quite shocking u know, imagine with some bulging eyes and wide open mouth together. PC are actually facilitators for the new intakes in uni. don't ask me why i want it. i'm lazy to explain. but this so happen that from last year's 90 over ppl decreased to 50 ppl, the number is shocking and it includes the BSMM students leh. unless there's massive decrease in the number of new intakes, i doubt it will be an easy job for them. Last year 90 ppl i also feel like wanna die liao this year, muahahhahaha i srsly wish u all luck from beneath of my hearts. And outta 50 ppl hor, ~~okay this is something very sensitive to talk about, u know malaysia kan?~~ 10 fingers can finish counting the C's and the I's. and no one from my course. not a single tiny weeny one. and my course is majority in numbers. ~~damn wtf~~ crap crap crap. so much for 1Malaysia. boooooooo!!! Fine, i know i'm not that good yet but still i have number of frens which are really eligible for the position din get it too! nvm. nvm. inhales... exhales... inhales... exhales... no need to be mad at them. seriously no point+waste energy+waste time. i kinda miss the previous person-in-charge. nope. not gonna write his name. after they expel me for writing a blog.

And don't feel offended pls. I'm not talking about each and every one. just the ''specific'' ones, ~~like the government now a~~. oopss.. talk no more.

I know i know, this post is so pointless with me crapping irrelevant things here today and plus sounding so bad summor. but take it or leave it, cuz while i type, i tend to forget bad stuff. i recommend blogging as a therapy. seriously.

Don't read if u're in a bad mood. ~~It can kill.~~

The thunder is rumbling and smashing in the distance. And it's been bad for me these 2 days. Ever since i just slept one hour for my paper 3 days ago my biological clock is going crazy. I can't get up in the mornings and afternoons i feel so sleepy, hence night, insomnia. Freaking annoying. And there's this stupid headache accompanying me for 2 consecutive days already.

Just can't concentrate on my last subject. Who wants to study about flies and mosquitoes and mites and ticks when they are so ugly. They've being biting me daily and it's not likable at all, and this i mean the mosquitoes. 6 subjects with 8 freaking papers is driving me insane. U can ask me, how did u survive SPM then? I had 2 years to prepare u know, and this, minus out the meetings and activities and classes, the only time u have is some rare nights and one week of study week. I'm amazed by myself too, but still, the outcome sometimes are so unacceptable. Sometimes i just wanna freaking scream and tell my mom, i wanna go home, don't wanna continue anymore. When i open my eyes, it's just another sucky day . no more usual hang outs no more pretty clothes (since u have to look DECENT around here). srsly before i came to KL i had this concept that KL has hotter girls hotter clothes more colourful lifestyles. It's true but it just doesn't happen on me.

Come on, it's just the last subject and u came so far. Fine, can't give up right. continue looo.. if not how o, burst into tears like a crybaby a? Rmb there was a day that my friends from other uni's came to visit. They were like, harr why one semester u take so many subjects geh? They were only taking half the number of mine and they already feel it's awful.

Had been talking to coursemates in the cafeteria for a long time last night. Makes me even wonder, wth was i thinking back then. Many questions would pop up, asking, why why why? What would happen if i continued in NIUC? TARC maybe? is my route the same? will i be complaining about the same thing again? Guess so. Life is made this way. Humans always want the unreachable. No?

Ok fine i m really bitchy now. Blame the emo-ness. Just gotta buck up now.
One good news is, my sao sao is actually paying for my bro's college's fees!! OMG HOW LUCKY CAN HE BE!!!!

这部电影虽然没有什么很大的起伏，可是非常感人

女主角为爱努力，为爱改变，只为了学长能多看她一眼

纯纯的爱情，没有轰轰烈烈，但是都是一般女生所希望拥有的

还有的是，电影也说出了友谊的重要

没有真的了解自己的朋友，再风靡全校的女生都会觉得孤单

它没有韩剧的华丽气派，要跑车富家子

没有台湾剧的夸张，要赴汤蹈火才能拥有爱情

可是，还是让我感动了 :)

I'm just done with my Biochemistry paper this morning. Should i say, i love u Pak Kas? hahaha Anyway, took a short break out to times square with the bf to get his harddisk, but due to some internal errors, did not get it in the end. Had lunch at Vivo and head back to fac since he has his dental appointment.

On the way back, i saw this massive crowd standing outside the IMR (Institute for Medical Research) building which is just next door to my faculty. And i was thinking, wow this people so good, fire drill under the midday burning hot sun. And then something doesn't seem right for a drill. Around 9 fire engines were there, not counting the smaller sized vans and jeeps some more. Alas, black smoke coming out from the top level of the building. I watch the firemen break into the building by breaking glass and all. No doors meh why must break glass? Guess there must be some theory behind it. ahha

see the smoke? not quite visible from my weak cammie.

even a fire engine parked inside my faculty, and it's just one of the many.

first time seeing so many reporters hanging around. i see tv3 huge video cam summor.

hope there are no injuries though.

the faculty gates were closed and there was no bus around so i decided to walk back, despite inhaling so much smoke while standing there. it's carcinogenic!

haha too much pathology and biochemistry lately.

okay enough of the fire part.

lets feast our eyes on some nice stuff.

Finally! A day which marks an end to those ''never-ending'' assignments and some presentations which gave me heart throbs.This also means, 2nd Year of Uni life is gone, study week is here and exams are around the corner!

Tonnes to revise!! And I'm so unmotivated! This is not a good sign! I'll have to buck up or I'll be in hot soup in the exam halls.

Rainy days are personally my favourite;

Some people might find it gloomy, but i find it calming.

I remember it was my favourite thing to be sitting in a car on a rainy day.

Staring out of window, looking at the raindrops patter down the glass.

It somehow seems to clear my mind.

I get all fussed up when the weather is super hot or stuffy.

So I had no idea how i survived my trainings in high school.

Cool rainy days makes me calm, and i can think clearer on these days.

However, I still don't really like thunderstorms.

The thunder and lightnings scares me out sometimes.

Rainy days is also a memorable weather for me, because on this day, I taught a little silly how to actually hold an umbrella for a girl. That time, I just couldn't believe that a guy can actually NOT know how to hold an umbrella properly for a girl. and the girl has to hold it for him =.=

Don't know if that silly still remembers this. :)

Well since a kid, I love the rain.

Because I know after the rain, there'll be sunshine and rainbows again.

So whenever i had a hard day, I'll always wish it will rain to wash away my bad encounters.

But wishes don't come true every time right?

It's March!
And it's my first post of the year!
Too much happenings, but lost the passion to string them in words.
I must find back the passion i once had.

I realise I get more focused in the middle of the night

Met with my darling girls in KL and had a sleepover
Seeing him again after a month.
Back to classes
Went to One U and got pissed off with the huge crowd and lousy air conditioning
Had a new toy for company at night in bed.
Christmas countdown in Genting Highlands.
Little bro came to KL.
Visited godbro's new home in 20 trees and in love with the whole place.
Awesome to the max.
Visited One U AGAIN.
Aunt being afraid that i starve myself and fed me non stop.
Had a long talk with her at night and godbro's place.
Sing K session before going to bed
Back to class again on Monday.

Losing Track

Kept thinking today is a Thursday. Really losing track of the dates.

Had been a really lazy girl this holidays. *shakes head*

However, had a little bits and pieces of activities going on to keep me occupied or I'll be bored to death.

Had some shopping with mom and sis but didn't manage to get anything for me.

My girls and bf who usually accompany me for shopping are either not around or too busy.

Hmmm want shopping badly but don't have any idea what to buy. Terrible la wei..

btw last weekend, Carmen, a great friend from matric came to my house for a night =)

So we ate and chat and watched Rapunzel.

I'm super in love with that cartoon. Too bad didn't watch 3D.

The lights would have been awesome to the max!

And i'm totally in love with the song '' I See The Light" in the movie which i've embedded at the beginning of my post =)

I don't deny i was so obsessed with Disney's princess stories and movies when I was a little girl.

And I still am now.

And I believe, no matter how strong, how matured, how rational, how independent a lady can be, there'll always be this small part of her, of a little girl, buried deep down inside.

While watching this movie I was totally carried away and had a feeling of being snapped into reality when the movie ended. *sighs* How nice would it be if our lives are like those fairytales which always guarantees a happily ever after ending.

Thinking too much. Pardon me =)

Also not forgetting to mention, had a badminton session few days ago with Jov, noi, koko and boney. And that's the only time i get to meet Jovy since she's back from Australia. But now she's in KL already starting her intern and today's her first day! All the best dear! Bet you're doing fine there =)

Guess i shall end here then. Going to Thailand to find my grandma this weekend! Can't wait! heheheee i smell good food already =p

In the Mood

Went shopping with mom and sis yesterday. Had lunch at the new Winter Warmers at Queensbay. i know it has been there for so long, but it's new to me despite being away from Penang for quite some time.

(a month only maa no big deal)

loved the iced mixed fruit tea

lovely place for tea and chit chat <3

later on, off we went to Body Glove and mom literally ''sapu'' quite a number of t-shirts for my brother. Why does she only do that in BG leh? never see her do that in any other shops also.

but i manage to get meself a pair of jeans too since she's in the mood.

after that, we walked around hunting clothes for me sis but hard task *tsk*

kids at her age, really a headache to get clothes

gave up in the end and mom promised her more clothes when she gets taller.

Malacca ♥

Finally am able to move my heavy hands and blog about the Malacca trip last week (12-13th Nov 2010). Had an awesome time. Quite a memorable one too by starting a wild goose chase early in the morning. Initial plan was to call in 2 taxis around 645am BUT there were none. Thus, second plan was to take the bus out to the monorail at 7am but the bus came late. Tickets were at 8am. And it rained. What a lucky day we had.

By the time we rushed to Bukit Jalil, the bus left IN FRONT OF US. Had to get 9am tickets then. Pleaded with the counter people and in the end, they gave us cheaper tickets by RM3. Why so?

They gave us children tickets. C=

By the time we reached and after getting a car from Khen Eng's relatives, off we go...

Decided to have chicken rice balls first since everyone was hungry. To our surprise, no queue because we're early. heheee.. After that Khen Eng went to have porridge since he wasn't well, we girls took the opportunity to go visit the boutique shops around there.

The queue you see was the following day.

After that, checked into Times Hotel.

and dumped stuff all over the guys' bed. hahahha

Rested a while and freshen up, and off we went to have cake =)

shopped around and then walk over to Taming Sari to get a good view of Malacca

RM10 per entry. blood suckers!

but even Jian Sian who is phobia of heights can smile

we'll just pretend that the few minute go-up-turn-around-and-come-down trip is worth while

okiee driver taking a quick rest. *tsk*

and off we go to Jonker Walk.

We continued our day with Pork Chop Mee, cendol, durian cendol, laksa, nyonya laksa, and many other kinds of food which i don't know the names, cold durian puffs, cendol again, cheese tarts.....

After an awful week of 5 heavy papers, there's another 2 practical exams coming up tomorrow and day after
Sounds saddening ain't it? At least it does for me.

Anyway, had a great short hang out with my dear dear Serene yesterday. Haven't being seeing her for a month and missed her loads. We started talking away when we see each other and by the end of the day, we still didn't have emough! Girls... I know.. hahaha.. Can't wait to see u again Ser! You lighten up my day.

And back at the hostel, had some crazy girls talk til 230 am in the morning and felt really great! Maybe it's some kind of 'releasing stress'method for me after laughing like mad in the room and it really works. But mouth was tired though. Can't do this everyday cuz i might strain my facial muscles.

Had quite a gloomy mood day today. idk why
maybe of the practical test tomorrow?
maybe not being where i was last week?
maybe missing my sweet home back in Penang?
