Malacca One Day Trip

Okay, obviously I've been so behind time in updates. Now that the new blogger interface has a graph, I can see that my blog traffic is descending. haha. 

Anyways, since miss Vachel keep complaining I never update, here's one then. 

One day trip to Malacca after ending our 4-week attachment at UKM Hospital. This time there was no running after buses and getting wet all over, not so dramatic like the previous time we went because this time we drove there. 

Reached Malacca around 11 something and decided to go for the chicken rice balls, but the queue at the famous shop was sooooooooooooooooo long we decided not to wait and went to another one just around the corner, crossing fingers hoping that it won't be of much difference. Come on, chicken are all the same right? :D and we were hungry, so anything tastes nice when you're hungry.

And this fried tofu with a wee bit salty topping at the top. First time seeing this kinda thing. Quite a nice try but kinda oily. Stomach's starting to growl in the middle of the night now while typing this post. hah.

Then off we went to Jusco for Real Steel. It was such a superb movie! Sounds stupid but I sort of kept ''screaming'' and ''cheering'' when the robots fight. Too excited already I guess. And I feel really silly for going to the cinema 3 times, 3 TIMES, for Transformers. Real steel is wayyyy better, man! And I was awake throughout the whole show. Not like Contagion, allowing me to experience dozing off for the first time while watching movies in the cinema. 

Okay chill.

So after being so excited about the movie, we were hungry again.

I love the cakes soooo much and now they have new menus and flavours.

See? How to not drool over these cakes? heh

mind u, they have 2 layers of fruit in between. 

Not like those cheap shops that always think how to gain more and give less.

So we ordered original, gula melaka, mango yogurt and a fruit tart.

They were all fawesome!!

Actually the mango yogurt layer cake was ordered via second round. 

Plate empty in minutes, no, no, I think empty in seconds should be a more appropriate word. 

This is the only thing that we ''snatch'' for more. =D

So, after being well-fed and satisfied with cakes, but still not THAT full, we went to queue for satay celup.

For one an a half hour. I'm SERIOUS! haha

nvm, we wait for a reason

The reason is this! heh. yar i love the thick satay sauce served and the important thing is, they give you a new pot for every change of tables. That is, you don't share a same pot of gravy with the people that ate at that table before you. 

And just a small part of what we ate. 

That's just nothing weiii... ahha 

Don't worry, it's buffet style. You take what you want and you can just leave it there if you can't finish, not counted into your bill if you haven't bitten it. =D

So that kinda ends our one day trip because by the time we finish eating it was already 9 something and we need around 2 hours to reach KL. In the end we got stuck in a jam and reached past 12am. Had a small lecture from the guards at the gates but still didn't ruin my mood that day. I'll be happy to go back for more if I had the chance. Wanna go Jonker Walk next time (:

And oh btw, I love the new blogging page. At least I can see more of what I type above. 

If you've been wondering where I've been disappearing to recently, I was drowned in a mass of assignments and case studies and reports. 

Must find back my urge to blog more.

And I'm going back home in 7 hours' time!

Can't wait.

However I'll be home alone with dad only. mommy and sis going to Singapore.
